Our league is an invitation league only. By this, we do not accept all teams just because they have sent an application. All teams will need to meet for an interview with the league management committee to discuss their inclusion to the league, about their team and a more in depth briefing about our league and your obligations.
The committee based on this will then accept or decline your application.
Please also remember that NO team can be accepted into our league if you do not have a London Football Association affiliation number. All teams are required by FA law to have one of these to play in any London football league. More information on the London FA affiliations here
If you would like your team to express an interest to join our league then you will need to ring Alec Pretlove, the Vice Chairman of the league to arrange a meeting.
Alec Pretlove's telephone number is 07956 942 468
Many players often email me asking how to join a team. There are three ways to go about this.
Firstly, visit the league forums and head to the transfer market forum and leave your details or respond to messages on the teams looking post heading. Transfer Market forum here.
The second option is to be more pro-active and visit each divisional contacts page of the website and contact the club secretary directly yourself.
The third is to e-mail me (Dino) at bigbrother1471@yahoo.co.uk with a brief sentence about you and your contact details and I will put this information on the latest news section of the website.
The league DOES NOT tolerate discrimination.
Regardless of ethnic origin, sexual orientation or age. While we understand that this sometimes happens in walks of life it is primarily down to you as responsible clubs to police your own matters within your team first and foremost.
We pride ourselves on the friendly league we are and welcome new faces to our league.
1. Contact Alec Pretlove to arrange a meeting with the league committee. And have arrangements in place to get your LFA number.
2. Make sure your club is financial secure for the season. This is the biggest reason why clubs tend to fold.
3. Pitch fees are split as well as match fees
4. Pitches cost £47 per permit
5. Referees are paid £35 a match
6. Secretaries are required to attend a monthly fixture meeting
7. Be responsible for the conduct of your team on and off the pitch.
8. Any money owed or fines owed to the league are paid on time.
9. Ask questions. If you are not sure ask someone. A fellow club secretary, a league committee member or email me.
10. Enjoy it. It is what we are all here for.
We have great referees within our league and are always on the lookout for more, whether experienced or just starting out. We might even pay for you to start a referee training course if you agree to join our league after completion.
Any questions then you will need to contact our referee's secretary Jermaine Wright who deals with all these matters.
Jermaine Wright's telephone number 07740 379 177 or E-mail: jermainewright1@hotmail.com
